Veterans Park marks Korean War anniversary in Horse Creek

The first anniversary celebration of the Horse Creek Midland Valley Veterans Park honored Korea War veterans on its 50th anniversary year. Charles Wienbeck, 68, recalled Korea’s cold climate and his service in Korea and Vietnam. Rep. J. Roland Smith praised the park as a memorial to all veterans and a bearer of freedom.
