Ridge Spring man pleads guilty in teen assault case
Thomas Lewis Dunbar 45 pleaded guilty to third degree assault and battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in a case involving a 16-year-old girl with special needs. He received 90 days and 30 days to run concurrently, to be served at the Aiken County detention center.

Public Safety investigates a Tuesday night armed robbery at a Brandt Court apartment. A 46 year old woman reported two men robbed her at gunpoint after posing as visitors and entering the residence. Suspects fled on foot toward Camellia Street.

Aiken man shot by wife after domestic dispute
Police obtained arrest warrants for a 50 year old Aiken man after a domestic incident left him with a leg wound. The 49 year old wife said she shot him in self defense as he allegedly choked her in their home on Taylor Street. Their 12 year old daughter witnessed the incident.
