Aiken Department of Public Safety charged David Harper 35 of Fairway Ridge with possession of cocaine and driving violations. He was arrested Saturday for cocaine possession driving under the influence driving under suspension and unlawful possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
A 20 year old Greenville woman Lesa Lynn Messer was charged with reckless driving and driving with no license after a high speed chase that ended when her car struck a lamp pole in Greenwood. She made obscene gestures to officers during the pursuit.
Staten Island Family Court Judge Daniel D. Leddy Jr barred two brothers aged 16 and 13 from watching televised wrestling after they obsessed over Hulk Hogan Rowdy Roddy Piper and the Iron Sheik. Friends and city leaders praised his community work with the American Legion Rotary Club Chamber of Commerce and First Presbyterian Church. Services set at First Presbyterian Church in Aiken with burial in Aiken Memorial Park.
