Stonehouse tied to large West Africa mail fraud scheme

Investigators say Stonehouse received at least seven packages from West Africa with counterfeit money orders and instructed remailing to others. She allegedly got six counterfeit money orders from Benin amounts from 300000 to nearly 1000000 dollars each and re packaged for further distribution. Stonehouse is detained in Lexington County and faces up to 20 years.
