Stephanie D Richardson, 32, of Jehnssee Drive, was arrested Friday on multiple counts of financial transaction card theft after allegedly stealing a credit card from a vehicle and using a company credit card to fund an account for a man imprisoned for armed robbery.
Police dispersed a 150 to 200 crowd outside Break Room on Whiskey Road with no charges. Fencing at Mike's Tire on York Street was cut in an attempted theft. A Walmart visitor lost an iPhone after taunts. Break‑ins on Orangeburg Street and a purse theft at Gold's Gym on Corporate Drive involved credit card use. A 14 year old girl was taken to DJJ for reportedly holding her family at knife point.
The Aiken Center for the Arts announces Taste of Wine and Art for October 20 from 7 to 10 p.m. with tickets at 50 dollars per person. A cookbook lecture follows on October 19 at 10 a.m. in the Brown Pavilion with prices 10 dollars for ACA members and 12 dollars for non members. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 15.
