Fire kills 25 as Peru nightclub blaze blamed on fire stunts
In Lima a non licensed upscale disco, Utopia in Surco, saw 25 dead and 100 injured when bartenders used fire during a weekend show. A lion and tiger died with other animals and many patrons tried to douse flames with drinks amid chaotic escape. Authorities say the venue lacked permits and proper safety exits.
