Robert Lee Cain 32 of 6 Henry St Burnettown died yesterday at an Augusta hospital. Funeral at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Langley Church of God with Rev A G Thompson and Rev Guy Campbell officiating. Burial Sunset Memory Gardens. Survivors: widow Ellen Mitchell Cain, father Leroy Cain, two sons Barry Gene and Mark James, brother William Randall Cain. Pallbearers named. Friends may call at residence or Posey Funeral Home Langley until 2 p.m. tomorrow then at church.

Mrs. Sherard Dies At 99 In Aiken Nursing Home
Martha Harrison Sherard 99 of Route 3 Box 257 died after a brief illness at an Aiken nursing home. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home. She was a native of Fairplay and longtime resident of Aiken, wife of the late John Grant Sherard, taught in Anderson County Elementary Schools, and belonged to Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters Daisy E. Sherard Eunice Stephens and Mrs. Willie V. Hicks and a son Carl Sherard. She was active in the Senior Citizens Club of Aiken and the Kings Daughters Society. Funeral home to set service details.
