Space education specialist Patterson Biggs brought NASA's Spacemobile to Jackson Middle School for a day of exhibits and talks. He explained shuttle models, rocket parts, astronaut food and flight stages, then answered students questions about space careers and math science and computing requirements.

Aiken Man Charged in Break‑In at Lee's Bar Be Cue
North Augusta police charged Samuel Davis Bowman of 802 Bryant Court Aiken with house breaking and grand larceny after an incident at Lee's Bar-Be-Cue. Bowman was arrested at the scene around 4 52 a.m. Investigators said another suspect fled.
