The Public Service Commission began hearings on a 10.9 million rate hike request by General Telephone of the Southeast. The PSC agenda runs through Friday with General Telephone serving 105,000 lines to 500,000 customers across Myrtle Beach Winnsboro Sumter and 27 other South Carolina communities.
