Jim Baggott was unanimously elected chairman of the Aiken County Planning Commission at last night’s meeting. Jimmie Jameson was chosen as vice chairman. The commission denied final plat approval for Dominion Downs and Sycamore Hill due to septic and road access issues, while approving Spring Hill, Five Notch Road, and Shannon subdivisions. It also supported a ban on building permits for properties lacking maintained access roads, pending county council action.
