Community prayer vigil seeks blessings for New Ellenton
In New Ellenton about 100 people gathered Tuesday at Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church led by Rev Anthony Wilson and other ministers to pray for safety and unity after the January 2 murder of Dantrey Cuthbertson. Organizers cited recent violence and break ins as factors. Mayor Vernon Dunbar urged broad community action and support for police and schools while Rev Christopher Holley led prayers for residents and authorities.
