Coroner pins carbon monoxide death in five from fire
Spartanburg County coroner Rusty Clevenger says a mobile home fire killed a young mother India Jones age 20 and her two children Perrin Floyd age 2 Kaitlyn Jones age 3 and Kennedy Floyd age 1 from carbon monoxide poisoning. Firefighters pulled some victims from the blaze but several died at the hospital. No working smoke detectors were found in the home. Investigators continue probing the blaze in the small town of about 2400 people in northwestern South Carolina.
