Escapee to serve 35 extra years in South Carolina
Thomas Osborne was sentenced to 35 more years after pleading guilty to armed robbery failure to stop for a blue light assault and escape. He fled a Spartanburg minimum security prison on April 25 while being written up for a cell phone. He threatened a 67 year old man stole his car and led officers on a high speed chase reaching 110 mph before crashing and continuing to drive the wrecked vehicle until it stopped.
