Robbery Motive Ruled Out In Barnwell County Slaying
Paul Howard Barnes a 49 year old Williston resident and building contractor was found dead from a shotgun wound in his 1976 Ford pickup on Secondary Highway 13 near the Aiken Barnwell line. Officials found more than $200 at the scene ruling out robbery. no weapon was recovered. Barnes left behind a son and daughter.
