Dewey Johnson, 68, a Aiken businessman, was found beaten at his Morgan Street grocery and died at Aiken Community Hospital. Police follow several leads with no arrests or warrants yet. In a separate case, Paul Howard Barnes, 49, of Williston, was shot and found in his Ford pickup near the Aiken Barnwell line with no leads.

Five Billion For Roads Tax Boost Signed Into Law
