Judge awards church ownership of Redneck Shop building
A circuit judge ruled New Beginnings Baptist Church is the rightful owner of the former movie theater housing the Redneck Shop in Laurens. The court ordered the shop’s proprietor to pay more than $3,300 in church legal fees and upheld the church’s claim amid a long running civil dispute with Klan members.
