Focus groups and ongoing interior changes shape layouts such as moving skylights lowering ceilings replacing plaster with painted sheet rock and altering wall curves to fit furniture.
Bluffton blossoms as Sun City Hilton Head rises into the largest residential project in the state. Del Webb’s 5,700 acre retirement community will host 8,600 homes for about 20,000 residents, creating 1,900 jobs and an annual economic impact near 1 billion dollars. Built to age 55 plus residents, the development features a town square, golf, pools, and a one stop home and lot selection process.
The Aurora Pavilion hosts a seniors conference titled Seniors in the 90s Healthy Wealthy and Wise on January 26 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. The event runs 9 30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with health screenings, lunch, an information fair and speakers from The Resource Center Fenwick Hall Hospital Hitchcock Rehabilitation Center Edward D Jones & Co and more. Registration by January 19 costs 5 dollars.
