Y2K bug delays hit Norway trains in 2000 glitch
Norway's NSB and Adtranz faced a late Y2K software issue on 16 air express and 13 high speed Signatur trains when onboard computers failed to read the date 31/12/00. Computers were reset to 1 December 2000 and service resumed while engineers investigate causes. Older trains remained unaffected and traffic returned to normal by Monday.
