Two Sought In Kroger Food Shoplifting Case
North Augusta police seek two black men over a Friday night theft at Kroger Martintown Plaza. Witnesses saw one man leave with a cart of groceries and load them into a 1972 Galaxie Ford trunk before speeding away. He wore a Pirates cap, T shirt, jeans, about 6 ft 2 in, 165 lb. Value listed at 150 dollars.

Break-In Results In 294 Loss At Recreation Center
A man reports return home Tuesday night to find entry through the front door and items missing valued at 294 dollars. Taken were a .22 pistol and an AM FM stereo cassette player. Other incidents include a woman losing a purse at a Kwik Shop and a station employee noting missing funds from a Farmers and Merchants Bank bag totaling 564 dollars in cash plus 14.35 in checks and 200 in receipts and 99 dollars in cash in a Crown Royal bag.
