Former Guard intel officer and ex-wife tied to espionage case

NASA still hunting answers a week after shuttle disaster

SPACE CENTER Houston AP One week after Columbia broke apart over Texas NASA still seeks clues. Remains of all seven astronauts and over 12 000 shards have been found across two states. A 2 foot wing section with carbon leading edge may reveal what failed. Investigators expect a determination shortly. NASA Administrator Sean O Keefe spoke after a memorial service at Barksdale Air Force Base where shuttle pieces are stored. Final eight minutes showed rising temperatures in the left landing gear compartment and brake lines overheating while sensors flagged overheating on the left wing.
