Bond authority eyed to fund capital projects statewide
State Rep. Bob McLellan solidifies a plan for a 12 member statewide bond authority to issue up to 100 million dollars in revenue bonds to fund capital projects. A second item notes a 3 year old West Indies boy received free laser surgery for vocal cord tumors at Baptist Medical Center in Columbia after volunteer nurse Joan Davis helped arrange travel from St. Lucia.
