Two Brothers Drown After Ice Lake Accident
In Kansas City Missouri two brothers James Lester Robinson thirteen and Kevin Lee Robinson nine fell through ice on a lake and drowned despite efforts by Vikki Weis an expectant mother who helped. Their bodies were recovered by the Lee's Summit Underwater Recovery Unit about three hours later from fifteen feet of water. The boys were sons of Jimmie Robinson who moved from Sacramento California to study for a seminary degree. Weis saw them playing on the ice while walking her dogs near the park.

Skeleton Found Near Marion In Rural Woods
The skeletal remains of a man were found Tuesday by a hunter in a wooded area south of Marion. Investigators said the body lay over a 20 to 30 foot area off a trail east of U.S. 501 and believe the remains may have been torn apart by animals.
