Father shoots daughter then kills himself in Warrenville

Warrenville community reels as 44 year old Charles Andrew Medlock shoots his 16 year old daughter Kimberly in the Howlandville Road home during a dispute and then fatally shoots himself. Kimberly is in critical condition at the Medical College of Georgia ICU. Medlock worked for Bridgestone Firestone and was deacon at Christian Heritage Church.

Parade Draws Large Holiday Crowd in Aiken

Downtown Aiken hosted the Aiken County Jaycees Christmas Parade with hundreds along the routes. The Marine Corps League led, followed by legislators, radio personalities, floats, bands, antique cars and scouts. Bath Woodworking won first in the commercial division and Historical Aiken Tours and Car took second.
