VA loan rate slips to 10.5 percent for first time since 1979
The VA announces a new maximum loan rate of 10.5 percent effective today, the lowest since late 1979. U S Embassy in Moscow to replace half staff
The Reagan administration will replace about half the Russian drivers guards mechanics and other workers at the U S Embassy in Moscow with Americans. Similar staffing changes will occur at U S embassies in Eastern Europe to counter a hostile intelligence threat.
