Accused vehicle thief in custody
Aiken County Sheriff's Office arrested 27 year old Jeffrey Decatur of Warrenville after multiple vehicles were broken into and one stolen in Graniteville. He faces grand larceny and seven counts of breaking and entering automobiles plus financial transaction card theft. A 7:45 am collision prompted a perimeter and pursuit ending near Houndslake Golf Course. Investigation continues.

Gunshots were reported on Hahn Avenue but no evidence was found. A Graniteville woman faced criminal domestic violence charges after assaulting her husband over a dispute about her cell phone. A Beech Island man reported two firearms stolen from his vehicle on Ashmore Drive. Burglaries were reported on Jefferson Davis Highway Beech Island Project Road Warrenville Howlandville Road Catherine Street Graniteville and Ced ar Road Windsor. Vehicle break ins were logged on Chalk Bed Road and Ergle Street in Graniteville.

A traffic stop on Wagoner Road led to the detention of two men on drug charges. Richard Allen Good, 19, of Beech Island, faces DUI, possession of under one gram meth or cocaine base, manufacturing or possession of other substances, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Evan Tyler Partin, 28, of Jackson, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, under one gram meth, possession of LSD, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
