Nativity display pulled from Aiken library
Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta removed a Nativity scene placed behind the circulation desk amid new county decorating rules. Manager Barbara Walker says the Nativity has appeared each Christmas for years, and staff did not see it as an issue. The action followed a December memo from County HR Director Gayle Wolman outlining holiday decoration guidelines to County department heads.
