Steinberg Insanity Bid Rejected

New York prosecutors reported Joel Steinberg remains denied an insanity defense after his lawyer sought to question ex lover Hedda Nussbaum's testimony as a factor in criminal responsibility for the death of 6 year old Lisa Steinberg. Judge Rothwax denied the bid noting insanity pleas require earlier filing though he may refile with proper papers.
