Americans Skeptical On Bosnia
An Associated Press poll of 1,016 adults shows 57 percent oppose sending U S troops to Bosnia while 30 percent support it and the rest are unsure. Only 38 percent view the situation as very important to U S interests and 37 percent think saving civilians justifies US risk. Younger adults more favor deployment and closely follow the issue.

Charleston Planes Join Bosnia Relief Mission
Two Charleston Air Force Base C- seventeen transports head to Bosnia for humanitarian relief with about 50 military passengers and several tons of equipment. First stop Rhein Main near Frankfurt, then Ancona Italy to enable flour and supplies to Sarajevo. The second C seventeen may stay in Europe for further missions or other cargo tasks.
