Arrests In Graniteville Sting Net 15 Suspects
Fifteen people were arrested in New Hope Graniteville Friday night in an undercover reverse sting by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office and SLED. Lt. Michael Frank said about 50 deputies and agents circulated in Gregg Street area to target crack cocaine buyers. Charges include attempting to possess crack cocaine, with some receiving simple possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, or possession of crack cocaine. Offenders were processed at a nearby school, with felonies carrying up to five years in jail and fines of at least 5,000 dollars.
