Shoplifter Jailed For Pre-Christmas Spree

Ronnie Earl Kimbrell, 28, was arrested after a Kmart pre Christmas shoplifting spree. Employees said he loaded a cart and walked out without paying, then was detained in the parking lot until police arrived. Items valued at 1095 dollars led to grand larceny charges.

Phony Police Cars Lead To Man's Arrest

A man in Greenville county facing charges of impersonating an officer used two blue and white police style cars with permanent plates and sheriff decals. The arrest followed an initial Duncan police investigation resulting in the charge.

Cougar On The Loose Killed After Pursuit

Florence authorities shot and killed a cougar after it remained aggressive and difficult to capture. Marion County Sheriff Bud Richardson said humane methods, including baiting, trapping, and tranquilizing, were attempted.
