Painting Scripture By Emily Hindman
Nell Ross, long time painter in Aiken, created a large Jordan River mural at Marion Street Baptist Church after three weeks of work this summer. She painted on a platform built by church members and prayed over the piece which blends biblical verses with landscape imagery. Ross teaches Sunday School at First Baptist, volunteers for Right to Read, and has 25 years of experience in a 30 year career.
