Charleston police say a man jailed for knowingly exposing his male partner to HIV may spur more cases. Major Dawson notes similar incidents are occurring but victims have not pursued recourse. In San Francisco 29 Food Not Bombs protesters were arrested in riot gear as they attempted to feed the homeless in Golden Gate Park after marching through Haight Ashbury. About 100 group members had set up tables with beans and melons before noon despite city warnings. Local businesses had complained.
