Staff reports say storms over two days dumped eight-tenths of an inch of rain in Aiken County about eight times normal. Local totals varied with Lincoln at 2.4 inches and Stillmore at 1.95 inches. A severe thunderstorm warning may have been issued for Edgefield County. Lightning damaged a barn in Foxchase, and some windows were rattled as rain seeped into cars and flooded spots.
