Pleas Filed To Save Beech Island Slayer From Death Penalty

Attorneys for Alexander Williams, convicted in the 1986 kidnapping rape and murder of 16 year old Aleta Bunch in Beech Island, press final pleas to spare his life. Williams, then 17, faces execution at 7 p.m. Thursday after a Richmond County verdict. An appeal to the Georgia Supreme Court is planned, with clemency requests to commute the sentence to life.
