Aiken Regional unveils new logo and branding
Aiken Regional Medical Centers unveiled a new logo at a Tuesday afternoon meeting at the Aiken Center for the Arts. CEO Jim O’Loughlin said the logo’s A stands for the Aiken community and announced aggressive recruitment and expanded services to bring more care in house.

Enthusiastic council weighs library renovation plan in Aiken
Aiken County Council considered a public private partnership to raise up to three million for a major library renovation. The Friends of the Aiken County Public Library pledged one dollar for every two from CPST funds and up to one million if the county contributes two million. The panel did not act but will draft a memorandum of understanding and move toward formalizing the partnership.
