Jackson Rates Are Going Up In South Carolina
Continental Telephone plans bondable rate increases in Jackson and several South Carolina towns effective Sept. 1 pending Public Service Commission review. Public hearings will decide changes with possible refunds plus 9 percent interest if disapproved. One party business rates rise from 9.25 to 11.05 and residence rates from 6 to 7.55. two party from 5.25 to 7 and four party from 4 to 6.75.
