Operation Black Gold Rush targets 130 drug ring members
Federal agents arrested more than 130 alleged drug traffickers coast to coast in a sweep dubbed Operation Black Gold Rush. DEA and other officials say the ring smuggled Mexican black tar heroin, refined it in Mexico, and delivered orders like a takeout service, with indictments across 10 cities including Charleston and Los Angeles.
