Budget board delays housing money for S C State
The Budget and Control Board postponed a 36.2 million project to build a 750 student apartment complex at South Carolina State citing concerns from Comptroller General Richard Eckstrom about university accounting. Gov. Sanford sought a special meeting to resolve issues while Rep. Bobby Harrell urged not to delay the health and safety project.
