Auditions and town meetings mark Aiken events tonight
Tonight at 7 p.m. auditions for the 2004 Aiken Kidney Benefit show Annie Get Your Gun at Schofield Middle School auditioning for leads chorus groups and children roles plus Burns Dance Studio and Half Time Company auditions. Also town meetings hosted by Congressman Barrett occur across Edgefield Aiken and North Augusta. The Savannah River Site hosts a Public Information Set at 7 p.m. and Salvation Army items distribution is 1 3 30 p.m. at 322 Gayle Ave. Call numbers provided for details.

Bob and Allie Lou Hulsebus celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They wed June 29 1944 after meeting at Newberry College while Bob trained as a Navy midshipman. They raised a family in North Augusta with long teaching careers spanning 34 years.
