Teens join MTV tour to promote anti smoking message
Three local teens Rachel Phillips Tara Dennis and Erica Williams spent a week with MTV Road Rules in the Rage Against the Haze tour traveling to over 25 towns to drum up anti tobacco awareness among teens. They plan to start anti tobacco clubs at Aiken and South Aiken High Schools and say the trip strengthened their teamwork and commitment. The group partnered with Youth Alcohol and Drug Awareness Teenline in Aiken County and performed skits and activities to highlight tobacco hazards.
