North Charleston man found dead after group home release
Leverne Reed, 63, lived at Cabading Homes in North Charleston. He was taken to Bon Secours St Francis Hospital for seizures and disorientation on April 9, then dropped off near the home and found dead in a marsh about a mile away on April 18. The hospital paid a cab to return him home, and the administrator said he was not informed of a discharge. The coroner has not yet confirmed cause or time of death. Officials from the Lt. Governor's Office on Aging visited the facility for an assessment.
