Ex-Hospitality worker pleads guilty in embezzlement case
Rachel Duncan, 41, admitted stealing about 500000 from the South Carolina Hospitality Association in Columbia. Prosecutors say she was linked to director Tom Sponseller, who killed himself in February. Photos on his computer suggested a closer relationship and possible domestic abuse documentation. The case also notes a separate bill directing 2.5 million from cigarette taxes to cancer screening programs.
