Numerous Vehicle Thefts Reported Across Aiken County
A weekend wave of larcenies and vehicle thefts hit North Augusta and Aiken County. Reports include a broken window and $350 in electronics stolen from a vehicle on US 25 and Ascauga Lake Road, an $8,000 car taken from Ward Circle, a $1,400-plus loss from a Lumpkin Georgia suspect houseguest, and other incidents involving guitars, jewelry, guns, and clothing valued at thousands. Several arrests and investigations continue, with suspects including residents of Belvedere and Belvedere, and a Trenton man linked to car damage and thefts.
