Carnival Triumph Releas es from Mo bile Dock After Gusty Winds
The 900 foot Carnival Triumph broke free from moorings in Mobile amid near hurricane gusts and drifted downriver before crashing into a cargo ship. Tug boats secured lines and crews began repairs as a gash appeared on the hull and electrical cables dangled. One worker was rescued and another was missing after a nearby guard shack was swept away by the wind.
