Night Owls formed to help handicapped teens gain independence
Chris Kersey of Hitchcock Rehabilitation Center started the Night Owls with Johnny Vaughn and Linda Gordy to give handicapped youths social outings. The group funds trips, seeks sponsor support, and plans future events like Splash Parties, movies, dinners, and beach trips while inviting broader community participation.
