Energy rebates save Aiken District schools $170,000
The Aiken County School District reports rebates totaling more than $170,000 over two years from an energy conservation program. Schofield Middle School nets the largest, $8,981, while district staff cut costs by turning off boilers, using low energy bulbs, weather sealing, and managed maintenance.
