Young Wife Called by Death in Boore County
Mrs. Carrie Elizabeth Bush aged 19 years 2 months and 15 days of Boore county living 8 miles west of Advance died at 11 00 am Tuesday at Williams hospital after a five week illness from a complication of diseases. She is survived by husband Lester Bush her parents Mr and Mrs Frank Jackson and two sisters Octavia and Luetta Bush of Max. The funeral of Mrs Bush will be held today at Ward and burial at Old Union.

Memorial Park to Open Sunday in Boone County
Memorial Park in Lebanon will open next Sunday June 1 with a large public celebration. The Jamestown band will perform from the band stand in the afternoon. Park officials promise improved appearance since winter with new shrubbery benches and tables ready for picnickers and family gatherings.

Park Opens with New Sidewalks and Stand for Summer
Repaired and erected for use it’s all out there a waiting for a crowd. All new sidewalks finished and the north drive of crushed stone completed yesterday. The concession stand under the band platform opened for the first time this season Sunday afternoon. Will stolen after execution prompts probate suit

Thieves Fail to Open Safe at Fulwicer and Emmert’s
Thieves entered Fulwicer and Emmert’s Store Tuesday night by breaking a side door bar and bursting the lock. They attempted the safe as Everett South of Lebanon opened it after the knob was broken off, but the lock proved stubborn and the safe remained closed until Wednesday afternoon with nothing taken from the store.
