Corner Stone of $65,000 Church Laid Monday

The corner-stone of the new $65,000 Presbyterian church at Thorntown was laid Monday afternoon before a large audience. Dr. J Am brose Dunkel of Indianapolis gave the principal address, aided by Rev. Hardy Lamb and others. The ceremony included a copper box with church papers and local memorabilia placed beneath the stone. The church will be brick and cost about $65,000, with a 500-seat main auditorium and basement store, social hall, modern kitchen, dining room, and two-story Sunday school rooms.
