A program at the M. E. church renewed last Sunday morning with cradie graduates receiving diplomas and songs by children. A Shiloh Christian church program at 7:30 featured recitations a vocal solo an organ solo and a violin duet by Lester and Letha Debard with Brother Kibbey and Brothers Francis speaking to the young folks. Both services drew well attended crowds.
Lucas Graham and Eva Goldie Graham were married at the home of Rev. D. O. Coy on Wednesday evening June 14. The groom is a minister serving Huntington and Montgomery counties and will reside in Lebanon, where he has built a new home.

He currently resides in Thorntown with a background as a blacksmith and prior residences in Advances Max and Frankfort.
Those who joined Tom Rhoos for dinner Tuesday included Mrs. Rena Mann and his late daughter Pauline, Mr. Hoft and his wife, a niece of Mrs. N S Carter, all of Park Rappids Mann. Also present were Mrs. A L Carney of Lebanon, Mrs. Allice Carter and her two sons Edgar and Harry.

Fred Wilson, manager of the Canton team in the 1-M league, was carried from the field unconscious after sliding headfirst into second base. The game in Canton lasted 13 innings, Taylorsville winning 8 to 5. Austin Beaver began pitching but was relieved by Charles after wild pitching.

Reception followed in the decorated dining room with Miss Lena Essex and Miss Esta Young presiding. gifts testified to the couple’s standing.
