The Advance Hustler operates as a weekly paper under manager Wiss Nina Waters with ownership by Mc Damie! The publication is entered as second class mail matter on March 3, 1911 at the Advance Indiana post office under the 1879 act.

John W Forbes writes from Columbus Montana describing his journey via the Yellowstone and Stillwater valleys. He notes fine country abundant wildlife and that his Forbes ranch lies six miles from Columbus. He says all is well and health good in the great west.
The United States imported over 40 million banana bunches in 1910, with total imports likely surpassing 3 hundred million bananas in value. Ten years of rising per capita consumption and expanding tropical cultivation forecast even larger figures, while Europe also imports large quantities. Great Britain, Germany, and France reported substantial banana spending last year.
The Pittsboro Sun changes hands with Samuel Jones selling to Ewart Watson who now runs the business. Watson previously taught in Middle township and later operated businesses in Chicago.
A horse owned by a mail carrier in Illinois has logged twenty six miles daily for twenty two months, totaling over 17000 miles. The animal reportedly avoided tire punctures, spark plug issues, or fuel shortages, never exceeded speed limits, and required no major repairs, proving reliability over long rural trips.
The Bank of Advance held its annual stockholders meeting on Tuesday night. Officers elected for the coming year were W J DeVol as President J S Weldon as Vice President H C Epperson as Cashier and Fred Thompson as Assistant Cashier. A six percent semi annual dividend was declared.
A band concert last Saturday night drew a good turnout though threatening weather kept some away. Dark clouds and lightning deterred many, but streets echoed memories of past concert nights and a larger crowd was expected if weather had cooperated.
Armilda Burke died June 27 1910 at age 79 in Advance after a long Christian life. She was born July 29 1831 and married David Lasley in 1851 then George Farlow in 1872, leaving five and two children respectively. Survived by Asa Lasley Diameea Whitsett Nancy Caplinger Samuel D Lasley Charles Farlow and many grandchildren.
Heady erping Frank Heady married Miss Lily Sparks in Danville Illinois after securing a license. The ceremony was at twelve o'clock in a Christian church conducted by Rev. Mr Jones, with Heady son of Clayton Heady and Lily Sparks daughter of Chas Sparks. They will reside with the groom's parents.
Miss Mabel Shaffer wed Perry Pointer Thursday evening at 8 o'clock at the Shaffer home two miles west of Shannondale in a small ceremony attended by immediate relatives and friends. Pointer is son of I. M. Pointer and the couple plan to set up housekeeping next week in Indianapolis. The Husrugi and friends send congratulations.
Patrons are told Advance Hardware Co and listed merchants will close Tuesday July 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The notice names C. E. McClaine Melson & Son Earl Brown Lora McClaine L. E Wail J.V. Rosa A. H. Ygger Caplinger Bros Brown & Craver Mark Wall L. C. Bowman N.S. Carter W. B. Epperson and urges using early or late hours on that date.
Members of North Christian church classes three and four from S S gathered at Riverside Park in Darlington. About sixty five attended a noon supper, boating and swimming followed by a six o’clock dinner. The group then returned to Darlington for a concert by the Darlington band and returned home with a good time reported.
